For over 15 years, he has been shaping records with care, craft, and a deep respect for both vintage and modern studio techniques. Having worked in various studios up and down the country, more recently he has concentrated on working with some of the North East region’s most promising up-and-coming artists, as well as established national acts who choose Polestar for its unique vibe and classic sound.

Having been brought up in Heaton, Alex moved to London to further his writing and recording career. After a successful few years in the capital, he returned to his native Newcastle, and currently lives with his partner back home in NE6.
